Training & Placement Cell

Tagore College of Pharmacy’s Training & Placement Cell bridges the academic and pharmaceutical industries.
It offers students the opportunity to engage in industrial training, project work, and placements in a variety of fields, including research and development, production, marketing, regulatory affairs, industry, and hospital placements, as well as emerging opportunities in the IT and healthcare technology markets.
The cell is very supportive of students’ efforts to do well on competitive exams including NIPER JEE, Tamil Nadu M.Pharm Entrance Examination (State Level), and GPAT. A number of these students have gone on to receive full scholarships to attend highly regarded universities.
Real-time industry exposure is implemented through industrial excursions.
The cell helps students get ready for the changing needs of the pharmaceutical industry by using a focused approach.

Objectives of the Cell:

Facilitates communication between the pharmaceutical sector and academia. • Assists students in obtaining employment in IT, healthcare, production, marketing, regulatory affairs, and research and development.
Attending GPAT, NIPER JEE, and TN M.Pharm Entrance for higher education is encouraged for students.
To encourage participation in industry-focused events, competitions, and skill-building activities.
To encourage faculty members to take certification exams like NPTEL-SWAYAM and other relevant professional qualification tests, as well as to assist faculty growth by offering industry exposure programs and Continuing education.
Sets up seminars, industrial tours, and expert talks to learn more about the industry.
To offer a variety of placement options and assist students in developing their careers and improving their prospects even after placement.
