CAMPUS RECRUITMENT DRIVE 

East West NextGen Pharma, Chennai.

The Campus Drive 2025 was successfully organized by Tagore College of Pharmacy in collaboration with East West NextGen Pharma, Chennai. The event aimed to provide prefinal-year and final year students with promising placement opportunities and industry exposure. The event was presided over by Dr. K. Ilango, Principal, Tagore College of Pharmacy.

Company and Resource Person

The recruitment and training session was conducted by Mr. K. Gurunath, Project Head and Expert Member, East West NextGen Pharma, Chennai. He addressed the students, sharing insights on the pharmaceutical industry and the expectations of recruiters in current times.

Process of Campus Drive

a. Pre-placement Talk

Mr. Gurunath conducted an orientation session, briefing the students about the company’s mission, work culture, growth prospects, and job roles offered. The talk motivated students to showcase their potential and align their aspirations with industry expectations.

b. Group Discussion (GD)

The GD session was conducted to evaluate students’ communication skills, critical thinking, team coordination, and awareness of current affairs. Students were given industry-relevant and socially significant topics. The session was competitive and interactive, with students actively participating and articulating their thoughts confidently.

c. One-on-One Personal Interview (PI)

Shortlisted candidates from the GD round proceeded to the final Personal Interview round. Each candidate was interviewed individually by Mr. Gurunath and our Principal, focusing on subject knowledge, attitude, career goals, and suitability for the offered roles. The PI tested not only the academic competencies but also the candidate’s behavioral and interpersonal skills.

A commendable number of students cleared all rounds and received placement offers from East West NextGen Pharma. The recruiter appreciated the quality and preparedness of students, as well as the college’s initiative in bridging the gap between academia and industry.

The Campus Drive 2025 was a highly enriching and result-oriented event. It served as a platform for students to step into the professional world with confidence and clarity. Our college expressed gratitude to the visiting recruiter and assured continued efforts in facilitating such career-building opportunities.
