Guest Lecture was organized by Tagore College of Pharmacy (TCP) Rathinamangalam on 03.02.2024 from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. Guest Speaker Dr. P. Selvam, President, Antiviral Research Society, TamilNadu has taken a lecture on topic “Recent Advances in HIV/AIDS Drug Design, Discovery & Development” for B Pharm students in Hall-II , 2ndFloor,TCP. He has published number of papers in Nature, one of the reputed Journals. He has delivered lectures in various organizations and Universities Internationally. The program has started with a welcome address by Dr. K. Ilango, Principal, TCP. Total of around 85 students and staff participated in this program. The speaker explains the Basics of HIV/AIDS, Advancements in drug designing in HIV/AIDS. The lecture also discussed about the possibilities and reach abilities of research and development of new drug Molecules for the treatment of AIDS. After his lecture the students were given time to interact with him. Students felt that the session was more
informative and interactive.
