National Pharmacy Education Day-2025

The National Pharmacy Education Day 2025 was successfully organized by Tagore College of Pharmacy, Chennai, on March 6, 2025, at Bharathiyar Hall, TCP. The event was held in honor of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff, the father of pharmacy education in India, and centered on the theme “Entrepreneurship & Startups in Pharma and Pharmacy Practice.”

The event commenced with the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. K. Priyachitra, who set the tone for the day with his inspiring words. The program commenced with an invocation, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp.

The highlight of the program was the guest lecture by Dr. E. Ravichandran (Aurobindo Pharma USA Inc., East Windsor, NJ) on “India as a Pharmaceutical Innovation Hub,” aiming to shed light on India’s growing role in the global pharmaceutical industry.

Following the chief guest’s address, a felicitation ceremony was conducted to honor distinguished guests and contributors to pharmacy education and practice. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of organizers, participants, and sponsors, followed by the National Anthem.
