Tagore Group of Institutions successfully conducted the Induction Programme for the newly admitted students of the academic year 2025–2026 on 10th November 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Auditorium, Tagore Engineering College. The programme was organized jointly by the College of Nursing, College of Physiotherapy, College of Pharmacy, and the Institute of Allied Health Sciences, with the objective of welcoming freshers and introducing them to the institution’s academic culture, values, and expectations. The event was presided over by Shri. G. Manikandan, Trust Secretary, Tagore Educational Trust, and Selvi. Rakshana, Trust Member and CEO–JEC. The programme was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. M. Mala, Chairperson & Managing Trustee, Tagore Educational Trust, who delivered an inspiring address encouraging students to pursue excellence, discipline, and professionalism in their chosen healthcare careers. The principals of all constituent colleges offered felicitations and motivated the students with their guidance and support. The programme began with an invocation followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and the college anthem. A warm welcome address was delivered, setting the tone for the day. Selvi. Rakshana, Trust Member and CEO–JEC, also addressed the gathering and delivered an encouraging talk, motivating the freshers to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution. A few parents, senior students, and newly admitted freshers also shared their thoughts and experiences during the programme, making the session interactive and welcoming. Refreshments and lunch were arranged and provided for both the parents and students, ensuring their comfort throughout the event The induction also included the Anti-Ragging Oath and the Student Council Pledge, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to a safe, respectful, and responsible academic environment. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
