Tagore Dental College and Hospital with a team of Senior Dentists led by Dr.Riaz, Professor and Head of Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, TAGORE Dental College and Hospital organized a free dental check-up and awareness camp at our campus on 31/01/2024 @10:00am. Our Principal Dr.K.Ilango welcomed the team of dentists along with para-medical staff. The team carried out a comprehensive dental check-up for 52 students from I year B Pharmacy.

The camp included a dental awareness talk, Dealing with Medical Emergency, and educating students about common dental ailments especially stressing tooth decay and gum diseases and the measures used to prevent them. The students were made aware of the eating patterns and food choices which can lead to tooth decay.

Our students cherished the chance to interact with the dentists to enquire and gain knowledge about their oral health and maintaining good oral hygiene.
