Career Guidance Program

The Career Guidance Program organized by Career guidance and placement cell of Tagore College of Pharmacy, Chennai, was held on July 15, 2025, at Bharathiyar Hall. The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries, faculty members and students. It aimed to provide a clear understanding of the essential skills required Medical Representative role.

The event started with the presidential Address by our honourable Principal Dr.K.Ilango, who set the tone for the day.

The highlight of the program was the lecture by Mr.Gurunath KProject head at East West Next Gen in the topic “Career Opportunities in Healthcare”.

The session made students to understand the role of medical representative and skills required to enter the pharmaceutical sales field. The company came forward to provide training to our students after their college hours, helping them experience the real time field work before their course completion, and our students actively enrolled them in the session.

Total of 73 students of third year and final year B. Pharmacy were participated and benefited out of this session. 

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker, the organizers, and all attendees for making the program a success. Guest speaker thanked our Principal Dr. K. Ilango for the given opportunity to conduct this session in our institute.
