Tagore College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Guindy, Chennai  organized an enriching Bentham Science Training Session on 10th June 2025. The session aimed to introduce the faculty and students to Bentham Science’s platform and its global contributions in scientific research and publishing.

The event commenced with theWelcome Address delivered byDr.K. Ilango, Principal, TCP, who set the tone for the day with his inspiring words.

The event was hosted Dr. K. Priyachitra, Professor, TCP. The keynote speaker for the session was  Mr. B. Kamal Babu, Product Manager at Bentham Science Publishers. He delivered an insightful talk on the functioning, benefits, and global reach of Bentham Science, enlightening participants about publication opportunities and the role of digital tools in modern research dissemination.

The session provided valuable exposure to scientific journal access, manuscript submission, and editorial standards maintained by Bentham Science. It greatly benefited the students and faculty, helping them understand how to improve their academic publication skills and engage with international platforms.

A total of around 104 students and staff participated in this program.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker, the organizers, and all attendees for making the program a success. Guest speaker thanked our Principal Dr. K. Ilango for the given opportunity to conduct this session.
