INDUSTRIAL VISIT REPORT

NAME OF THE INDUSTRY: MADRAS PHARMACEUTICALS, KARAPAKKAM, CHENNAI –600097

Fifty five students of Third year B. Pharm (V (53) & VI (02) – semester students)and four faculty members of Tagore College of Pharmacy visited the “Madras Pharmaceuticals”, Karapakkam, Chennai-97 on 06.07.2024 from 9.30 am to 1.30 PM. Students visited Raw material store area, Tablet manufacturing unit, Capsule filling unit, Syrup manufacturing unit, Ointment preparation and filling unit, Packaging unit, Quality assurance and Quality control departments. In-charge of each unit in the industry explained elaborately regarding the complete process to the students. Students had a effective interaction with them. This visit exposed the students to the industrial environment and learning experience.
